SEMA stage: Yearning destined for a Yenko:

Jeff Leonard grew up less than 2 miles from Detroit’s famed Woodward Avenue, so he knows about muscle cars. The Yenko products of the cycle were distinct favorites. “You didn’t own one, you aspired to own one,” Leonard said at the SEMA show. Leonard has owned a 1968 Yenko Camaro destined for 15 years.

But that’s not enough. He is also in the change of bringing back the Yenko dignitary and all that it meant to muscle-car enthusiasts, both those aspiring to own one and those with the means to do so.

SEMA stage: Yearning destined for a Yenko:

At SEMA, Leonard showed turned a concept of what a modern-day Yenko Camaro clout look. The the same shown here is based on a brand-new Camaro SS with a supercharger, a Hurst shifter, conventionality 22-inch wheels, Yenko striping and equivalent regular upholstery. “It’s what we over power be a complimentary model of what Don Yenko would make of a modern automobile,” Leonard said. Work continues on a presentation passenger car. No price was accepted, but if we had to guess, we’d believe you could do some friendly packages appropriate for between $60,000 and $85,000. More report will be present in a incomparable weeks.
